Dear Friends,

I had a very successful trip to Tanzania which considerably increased my world and african lifelists. I am continue to add to my website.  I have updated the Tyrannidae to almost the end of Myiobius. I have added to the Doves, and I am currently busy updating the Buteoniae to incorporate the revolutionary new taxonomy proposed in Raposa do Amaral,Sheldon,Gamauf,Haring ,Reising,Silveira & Wajntal,2009,Molecular Phylogenetics and Evolution,53.

I am thinking of stopping the annotation following synonyms of the form (= X a y).  There have been so many reassignments of genera recently, and every time I have to go through and change every instance of X in every synonym. Let me know what you think.
